Since early August this year, I’ve been feeling all the fall vibes. Somehow…even though the weather in Florida is atrocious. Sweating it out in the 100+ degree heat may have sparked my NEED for fall though. Whatever caused it, I’m not complaining. Living in Florida where we don’t get the full-on leaves-changing, cozy sweaters, crisp evening, fall ambiance… I’ve realized I need to do everything in my power for it to feel like fall. One of the best ways I’ve found to get in a cozy fall mood is by reading a good book! (Especially a thriller or another spooky book). So, I put together this fall reading list to help us all get in the fall spirit, regardless of where you live, or what month it is. π
My *Cozy* Fall Reading List
Currently Reading:
The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches by Sangu Mandanna
TBR (to be read):
Weyward by Emilia Hart
The Modern Girl’s Guide to Magic by Linsey Hall
The Once and Future Witches by Alix E. Harrow
Hex Appeal by Kate Johnson
Cackle by Rachel Harrison
My “Spooky” Fall Reading List
I’m not a big horror/scary girly, so let’s be honest β most of these “spooky” books are just thrillers. A psychological thriller is about as spooky as I’m down to get.
I’ll try to throw a few horror(ish) books in there too!
On Deck:
The Only One Left by Riley Sager
TBR (to be read):
All the Dangerous Things by Stacy Willingham
Ninth House by Leigh Bardugo
Home Before Dark by Riley Sager
The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides
The Lies I Tell by Julie Clark
The Housemaid by Freida McFadden
Let’s get reading!
I’m right in the middle of The Secret Society of Irregular Witches now and loving it so far! Such a cozy and wholesome book. It’s definitely kicking the (early) fall off right.
Throughout the season, I’ll be ordering a few more of these books from Book of the Month. I’ll also add on my October/November picks to this list once those monthly books come out. I’m excited!
If want to try Book of the Month, you can use my referral to get your first hardcover for $5. I absolutely love BOTM and spend the last week of every month looking forward to the upcoming month’s book selection. It’s like Christmas every month for book lovers! π
